so as the tour guide; you cant visit la without going to Hollywood.
right off the bat there was a 30 minute traffic snarl for 1 mile.
first stop, my favorite place in the city. the Griffith observatory.

ive been going there for a long time. one of my best memories was when I was about 10. my grandfather took my brother and I to a "Doors" laser light show. it was about 5 minutes into the show and some dude next to us just sparks up a joint and goes at it.
it has the best view of the city in my opinion. here is kind of a panoramic view from the back section. when there is no smog and a clear day you can see the water on the right.
Erika and her friend kameron taking advantage of a photo op.
im not going to lie. I have no idea what’s going on here
after that went to get some lunch down on Sunset. we had to hit up the California icon.... in and out burger. I always get the same thing. number 2 animal style.
driving around the city is entertaining in its self. it never gets old for me. I love the capitol building
while on Melrose caught these shots of "tastes like gold"

and an old bansky

next headed down to "the fast life"

they just had a huge event down there a week or so ago; so I hade to get some stuff from the show. (pic of the store front is not by me) Swooped up a hat from the event and some stickers and wild ones shirt. then my wife bought me the print from the show; only 88 made. sweeeet

as you know Michael Jackson died and his star on Hollywood blvd was a mob scene..
you cant have Hollywood with out scientology
http://www.scientology.org
also caught some "space invader" sightings on Hollywood...

after an all day long gallivanting of Hollywood area we headed back. I dropped off the wife and headed out to the SGV to see an old friend that I used to work with. Mr. BTX of ruckus fame. one cool dude
hung out at his shop till about 12am then head home. a full day for me.
